What is the 2027 Cadillac OPTIQ-V?

It is the OPTIQ with the V-Series treatment. Two motors drive all four wheels. Velocity Max unlocks the full torque figure, and Launch Control is how you get the 3.5-second run to 60. Continuous Damping Control keeps the body settled when the pavement is not, and Brembo front brakes with six-piston calipers handle the stops.

It still rides and sounds like a Cadillac at 70 on the highway. If you want more room or a softer drive, look at the Cadillac LYRIQ or the standard Cadillac OPTIQ first.

“If you like how the standard OPTIQ drives but want a little more power, this is the one to drive. Smash the throttle on an on-ramp and you can notice the difference.”Rochester Cadillac sales team

What does the OPTIQ-V sound like?

Cadillac gave the OPTIQ-V its own V-Series EV sound, so the quiet car still has a voice when you want one.

E-Rev

A V-Series rev sound you can play in Park or Neutral. It is fun to show a friend in the driveway.

Acceleration

An acceleration sound that rises with power as you speed up, so you can hear what the motors are doing. Try it on a test drive and decide if it is for you.

What makes the OPTIQ-V look different?

The details that set it apart from a standard OPTIQ are easy to spot once you know where to look.

What is the OPTIQ-V range, and how do you charge it?

Most owners plug in at home overnight and use public fast chargers on road trips.

The OPTIQ-V has an EPA-estimated 278 miles* of range.

Add up to 31 miles in about an hour* on 11.5 kW charging.

Standard NACS port

It plugs straight into many public DC fast chargers and newer home units. Older non-NACS chargers need a GM-approved adapter.

Backup power for your home

The OPTIQ-V is V2H capable, so with the right home equipment it can power your house during an outage.

DC fast charging

Cadillac says you can add up to 71 miles of range in about 10 minutes at a public DC fast charger.

One honest note: the V-Series hardware costs some range. The standard OPTIQ goes farther, up to 317 EPA-estimated miles on rear-wheel drive. In a Minnesota winter, expect less than the sticker from any EV, especially on short, cold trips with the heat up.

Is the OPTIQ-V a good fit for southeast Minnesota?

Dual-motor AWD helps on snowy mornings, but tires matter more than badges. Cadillac offers all-season tires and available summer-only tires. Summer tires are great on a dry July road and a poor match for January, so ask us which set a car has before you buy.

Plan for less range in the cold, plug in at home every night, and the OPTIQ-V handles a normal week here without drama, including runs up Highway 52.

Why buy your OPTIQ-V from Rochester Cadillac?

You get one local team for the test drive, delivery, charging questions and service for as long as you own it. We will be straight with you about winter range, Limited Edition wait times and whether a standard OPTIQ fits your week better. Bring your trade, and we will put the numbers on one page.

2027 Cadillac OPTIQ-V FAQs

What is the 2027 Cadillac OPTIQ-V?

It is the V-Series version of the OPTIQ electric SUV, with dual motors and all-wheel drive. Cadillac lists it from $67,500 MSRP. In Velocity Max with Launch Control, Cadillac estimates 650 lb.-ft. of torque and 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds. The EPA-estimated range is 278 miles. It suits drivers who want V-Series punch in a compact luxury EV.

How much does the 2027 OPTIQ-V cost?

Cadillac publishes a starting MSRP of $67,500 and an as-shown price of $75,720. Paint, the Carbon Fiber pieces, the Santorini Blue package and the Limited Edition all move the total. Taxes, title, license and fees are extra. For a real number on a vehicle we have, call sales at 507-405-2210 or check our new inventory.

What is the range of the OPTIQ-V?

Cadillac lists an EPA-estimated 278 miles. That is below the standard OPTIQ's best EPA figure of 317 miles on rear-wheel drive, which is the price of the V-Series hardware. Cold Minnesota mornings and short trips cut into any EV's range, so plan charging around your week, not the sticker number. We can map a realistic week with you.

Does the OPTIQ-V have a NACS charging port?

Yes. A NACS port is standard on the 2027 OPTIQ-V, so it plugs straight into many public DC fast chargers and newer home units. For non-NACS chargers, Cadillac says to use a GM-approved adapter. On a public DC fast charger, Cadillac says you can add up to 71 miles of range in about 10 minutes.

How fast is the 2027 OPTIQ-V?

Cadillac estimates 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds with Velocity Max on and Launch Control engaged, with 650 lb.-ft. of torque in that mode. Those are Cadillac estimates. Real times depend on the road surface, tires, battery charge, temperature and how you launch it. The best way to feel it is a test drive with one of our sales staff.

Is Super Cruise standard on the OPTIQ-V?

Yes. Cadillac lists Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance as standard, with a 3-year OnStar One plan. It works on compatible mapped roads and under the conditions Cadillac lists. It assists the driver and does not replace your attention, so you stay responsible for the vehicle. Ask us to show you how it behaves on a test drive.

How does the OPTIQ-V compare with the standard OPTIQ?

The standard 2027 OPTIQ starts at $49,995 and goes farther on a charge, up to 317 EPA-estimated miles on rear-wheel drive. The OPTIQ-V adds dual-motor AWD, Velocity Max, Launch Control, Continuous Damping Control, Brembo front brakes and V-Series styling. You pay more and give up some range for that. If range matters most, start with the standard OPTIQ.

Can I charge an OPTIQ-V at home in Rochester?

Yes. Most owners charge overnight on a Level 2 home unit. Cadillac cites up to 31 miles of range in about an hour on 11.5 kW charging. If you already own a non-NACS home charger, ask about the GM-approved adapter so you are not buying new hardware on day one. We can talk through charger options when you visit.

Is the OPTIQ-V Limited Edition available?

Cadillac shows an OPTIQ-V Limited Edition called the Deep Ocean Design Edition, with Deep Ocean Tintcoat paint, Santorini Blue accents, blue brake calipers, a Satin Graphite wheel and a Carbon Fiber Package. Cadillac calls availability extremely limited. Call us early so we can check what we can order or locate before you set your heart on one.

Can I trade in my current vehicle on an OPTIQ-V?

Yes. Start with our online trade appraisal, then bring the vehicle in so we can confirm the number after a walk-around. Still owing money on it is common. We can put the trade value, payoff and financing on one worksheet before you decide, and you can ask for those numbers in writing first.
